About Mrs. Schaad

This is my 17th year of teaching. I have taught 11 years of 1st grade, 3 years of Kindergarten and 1 year in 3rd. I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade!  I love watching students learn! I hope to nurture students academically as well as emotionally. When I am not at work I am running around with my 3 kids that are 10,8 and 5. We have soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, karate and dance! I also love to travel, do kick boxing, run,  cook, bake and go out to eat. I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!

About Mrs. Choi

I am so excited for another wonderful year at Bollinger Elementary! This is my second year at Bollinger teaching 2nd grade and this is my 11th year of teaching. I have taught Kinder-3rd through the years. I graduated from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I was Chicagoland born and raised and was transplanted to California due to my husband’s job. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy staying busy with BSF, shopping, reading, and having coffee with friends. My one and only daughter will be a Freshman at Baylor University this Fall. So, I am also a Baylor MOM. Sic ‘Em! I look forward to an amazing year full of exploration, fun, and growth!
