Bollinger GATE ACTIVITIES

Math Olympiad - Weekly math prep course to prepare for Math Olympiad competition. Offered to 3rd/4th/5th grade students only. (Visit: http://www.moems.org/ for more information.)

Lunch Bunch-Speakers from various industries talk about their careers. Speakers work with 3rd-5th grade students during their lunch.

Odyssey of the Mind- OM is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics.” (See: http://www.odysseyofthemind.com/) Interested students are grouped into teams and are led by parent coaches. Students practice outside of school throughout the year and compete in late February/early March.
